Did Kyra Phillips actually refer to an actual Nickname for Michelle Obama as "Blackie-O"? I appreciate the homage to Jackie-O, but understand the sensitivity of calling a Black woman, Blackie". Not cool. Love your show, though.
Thanks,

When I was coming into work this morning, the radio said that 155 was off air and was frantic. So, as soon as I got in, I went to XM's website and saw that they weren't cancelled and was happy. But, than I saw there were no repeats and got frantic, again. Than, I saw that asterick after and realized that meant I could get Broadminded online and was happy, again. Whew, what a morning.
I was an avid listener until Dr. Laura took your time slot on Take Five, and I wasn't able to tune in anymore. Now I'm crazy excited that I can hear you online! Can you do an update for those faithful listeners who don't know what's gone on in your lives for the past, oh, year and a half???
Just want to say that I have really enjoyed the show the past few days, especially today (weds). I don't know if it is post-election euphoria, post merger glee or "stars" relief but I LOVE IT! keep up the great work.
PS very happy you're "xL" now does this mean no more censoring??
Love your show so much and i want to thank sports broad connie for her right-on game picks from last weekend. Won a bet with my husband. Keep those game picks comin' Connie!
go, broads, go!
I was in the same situation as previous blogger as being frantic at 5:30 in the morning yesterday with my radio telling me 155 was off air. Then later I got a quick listen and realized it was still on! What a relief!! Now today I have checked out the lineup and am very sad to see there are no replays. I had went out and bought an INNO to record the show back in Feb. Since I cannot listen via online at work I am relying on my radio recording the only broadcast every day. I am crossing my fingers to hope the signal is strong everyday!!! I fell in love with your show in 2006 when I purchased a new car w/ XM! I can't even explain what I get from your show. There are tv shows I watch and think "tomorrow I bet they say this about that person or incident" and it has been the exact thought I had that you talk about on the show!!! I catch my self laughing out loud while listening with my earbud in and people probably think I am crazy!! I could go on and on about how much I love your show!!! Keep it up!
Thanks for a great show!!

PS I have already emailed XM about the dissapointment in the no replay and the 6 hours of HORRIBLE Dr. B---- instead!!!
I totally agree, I am sooo mad about no replays, like who really gives an ess about stupid Dr. b, like any of her listeners listen at one in the morning (which is when I recorded.) Give me a break and since I also can not stream at work, I am hoping my INNO will pick up the signal from my car so I can record it while I am at work!!!!!
Just emailed xm and requested the repeats again. As a truckdriver, I can't listen all the time during your regular hours.
You girls are the best
Is anybody else worried about 30 Rock? I've loved it since the beginning, but am a little worried about it being less funny and more of a "parade of stars". My point is this past thurs was a direct lift from the mid-nineties show, "Caroline in the City"...crazy friend visits and gets involved with unwitting co-worker. Sorry, but I need my 30Rock to be better than that. I would rather have original quirky humor without the stars. Bron
I requested the replays too, maybe it will work... Fingers crossed.
I also emailed to replay the Broads and not Doc B*tchy. She's everything this channel does not represent. I do think the channel name of "Stars" is a little chicos, but am just glad the Broads are still on! My only complaint is the Crone Stones lady. Dunno, but it just seems like a bunch of hocus pocus...all the goddess energy-speak just sounds like hot air. However, Sherry Sherry is always great and Jane Beard should come on more often -- EFT really works!
Hello Broads!!!
Just want to tell the higher powers that be, thank you!!! For broadcasting online.. You have made a lot of women very very happy!!
this is to bad i was hoping that when xm and sirius merged that the broads would be gone oh well. nothing like listening to brainless twits talk about thier liberal ways and how they look forward to a socialist nation. yeah go girls.
The above comment sounds like something from Dr. Laura.
Whoever wrote that needs to learn grammar, spelling and punctuation. Just sayin'.
I am so bummed that xm/sirius has gotten rid of the broads replays. I have to record it live now at home. I recently lost my job so i am able to record the show live but I have been listening less often since i have only one opportunity to record the show. I have a lot of great songs recorded as well. I also like to save true blood and lost clips. I also don't like some of the music channels. very bummed out about the merger. i liked the music channels before. seems like other songs are being played now. i am happy that broadminded is avail online now.
Okay. I do enjoy the show.
Are the Broads really lonely, or is it just an act? I know I have no problem meeting/seeing men. The key is give up the TV!! Duh.
Get outside.
Yeah. Get outside. Lotsa men on the ski hill! I see like hiking, fishing, sporting events. Go boating!
Oh, and here's a thought:
Please, call WASHINGTON, DC
DC!
Washington State IS Washington!!
Thanks.
it's only DC to westcoast people.
I just received the My Money Matters Kit and L-O-V-E it. It is a perfect stocking stuffer, because it's pocket size.
YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP. I THINK YOU ARE BOTH GORGEOUS GALS, AND YOU ARE SO REAL. I GOT A KICK OUT OF YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT THE BACHELOR PAD. I WANTED TO CALL YOU SO BAD, BUT WAS DRIVING, (NO TEXT OR CALLING WHEN DRIVING) I AGREE WITH YOU GUYS TOTALLY, THOSE BITCHES AND THOSE DOUCHE BAG GUYS ARE ALL F----D UP!!!!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND SEE YAAAAAAA!
i just dropped my six year old off at school and as i do every day, tuned into the broads. i am absolutely gutted to hear they have been cancelled!! please say it aint so. its a show i have followed for seven years. without the broads theres not many reasons to keep sirius. a little howard goes a long way.and while i like martha stewart, id like her better once a week and the broads five times a week. please reconsider.we love our broads!!!! kate lindley
